Overview
The 2025 U-FLI Tournament of Champions will be held October 24–26, 2025 at Purina Farms, Gray Summit, Missouri.
This year’s event includes:

- Championship Time Trial Round Robin (Initial Seeding)
- Variety Championship Time Trial Round Robin (Initial Seeding)
- U-FLI Summit Series (formerly MMIS) Standard Tournament
- Sunday:
- Final Championship Round Robin and Final Placement Race
- Final Variety Championship Round Robin and Final Placement Race
- U-FLI Summit Series (formerly MMIS) Standard Tournament
- Dream Team (Friday): $125.00
- Pairs Championship (Friday): $45.00
- Singles Championship (Friday): $35.00
- U-FLI Summit Series (Sat & Sun): $150.00 each day
- Tournament of Champions (Sat – Sun): $325.00
Entry Period: Opens August 6, 2025, and closes September 3, 2025. Only electronic entries accepted. No mailed entries.
Entry Fees (USD):
Payment: All entry fees must be paid in full by the closing date.
Awards: Champions will be acknowledged in each division.
Tournament of Champions Eligibility
- Clubs, participants, and dogs must be registered and in good standing with U-FLI.
- Clubs must have competed in at least two U-FLI event on separate weekends during the 18 months prior to the closing date (exceptions may be permitted upon request to championships@u-fli.com).
- Clubs may enter multiple teams in Summit Series and Dream Team events.
- Multiple entries per club in Standard and Variety TOC classes are allowed.
- Teams must be able to run simultaneously if entered in the same division.
- Dogs may participate in a maximum of two classes across the weekend.
Examples: 1 in TOC + 1 in Variety TOC – or – 1 in TOC + 1 in Summit Series
Championship Time Trial Initial Seeding Criteria
- Standard: Clubs enter their own seed time. If not provided, the fastest posted time in the 12 months prior to the closing date will be used.
- Variety: Clubs enter their own seed time. Teams may consist of dogs from one or multiple clubs (eligible for points and placement, but not team records).
Format & Schedule
Friday
- Singles / Pairs: Round Robin format. Dogs should have previous tournament experience (points or times in any flyball organization).
- Dream Teams: Open to combined clubs, eligible for placement and points. Times will not be added to U-FLI database.
- Test Flight: Any dog, any age. Up to 8 dogs per test flight. 10-minute time limit.
Saturday – Championship Time Trial Round Robin (Initial Seeding)
- Minimum 4 races per team.
- Fastest clean time or breakout time is required to qualify for Sunday.
- Teams without a qualifying time or teams that forfeit a race for any reason will be disqualified from Sunday.
Sunday – Championship Final Round Robin + Final Placement Race
- Teams re-seeded based on Saturday’s fastest time.
- No changes to team line-ups allowed between Saturday and Sunday.
- Final placement based on Sunday Round Robin standings.
Event Special Rules
- Withdrawal without just cause may result in disqualification from placement.
Breakouts
- TOC Standard: 0.25 sec
- TOC Variety: 0.25 sec
- Dream Teams / Summit Series: 1.00 sec
- Singles / Pairs: 0.15 sec
All dogs on teams earn points toward titles.
Unless otherwise stated, all standard U-FLI rules apply.
